My Favorite Ornament

Inspired by No Cool Story's favorite ornaments post, I've decided to show you my favorite ornament this year.

Guapo, aka The Tree Snob, does not care much for this ornament as he feels it detracts from the other ornaments and may actually cause damage to the too-short tree.

Here it is:

Meet "Kitty" our very curious Mexican cat.

Here she is stalking one victim:

...and attaking another.

It's a good thing Guapo's out of town!!!

What a funny kitty! Love it! How high up is he? It looks like he's pretty much climbed the tree!

Why am I thinking of the 12 Days OF Christmas song?

"On the first day of Christmas Gabby gave to bloggy....a naughty kitty in her pine tree."

I don't blame kitty as I'm often distracted by shiny, pretty things too.

I've actually been hesitant to put our tree up because our 2 cats are far worse than our 6 children when it comes to wreaking havoc on the tree.

We're doing it tonight though...

There's just something irresistable about a Christmas tree to EVERYONE and everything!

And here you said you had no fun ornaments...you have a naughty kitty in your tree! :D

Poor short Mexi tree, it was getting no love or respect.
The first picture is hilarious, love it.

Gabriela, do you remember the wonderful big Christmas tree last year in Breckenridge? The fun part was buying it during a blizzard. You had it picked out before I could find my gloves and get out of the car. When we got home, you had it lifted out of the back of the SUV and hualed up a flight of stairs before I could unhook my seatbelt. It had to be a record. What a relief it must have been to have Guapo, the tree snob, for the hard labor this year. The only hard part for me was to drive back down the mtn in the blizzard for the duct tape to repair the hole in the tree stand. Thank you abuelo. Yo Mama

OK this is hilarious because we just got a cat this year and she too loves to play with our Christmas tree. Every day she has to be under the tree and proceed to move my tree skirt around until it is completely NOT under the tree.

I never realized how much cats love Christmas.

Okay, so since the birth of the Trunk Monkey, they came out with a Tree Kitty. I guess it is to keep all of those pesky birds out of the tree.

I love this!!!!

If I weren't allergic to kitties, I'd get one and let it live in my tree.
I love the first picture, it's almots like he's saying "hey, I'm trying to relax here" (it's all in Español of course).

Beautiful tree and amazing ornament! We need one of those for our tree. By the way, send us a large picture of your tree so we can post it on our Christmas tree rating site.

That is too cute. We once had a dog who would eat all the candy canes off the tree for as far up as he could reach. I would come home from work and find slimey candy cane wrappers all over the carpet. Maybe your kitty isn't so bad after all.

That is so funny! I didn't get a tree this year because of 2 cats and one toddler I didn't want to say no to over and over daily. Now I really want one... that is too funny! so cute!
